That's right!  I put them to work!  What kid doesn't enjoy washing a car on a hot summer day?!  These boys loved it.

The Annual "Buck Family" Camping Trip

Every year we try to go on a camping trip with the Buck Family in Alpine, Wyoming!  Jake must have worked his magic on me...I was 7 months pregnant and slept on an air mattress!  That should count for something...right?  We had such a good time!  It is always great to see that side of his family.  It's not often that we are all together.

The Summer of 2011

What a fun (and BUSY) summer we had!  We always try to cram the fun in while we have both of the boys at the same time!  We sure had fun and made great memories!

4th of July Celebration

We love the Hyrum Parade every 4th of July!  (It helps that we only live a few blocks from the parade route!)  We were even all decked out in our 4th of July outfits!  JD & Tracen got a TON of candy as usual.  That night, Jake put on a fantastic firework show on his $50 firework budget.  He has begged me to increase his budget for next year...I told him he will need to get another job to support his habits! haha!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!  We had the Clayton's over for a Father's Day lunch.  It was great.  The men played horse-shoes and the women chatted!  It was a good time.

Getting Ready for Baby!

Jake and Tracen worked sooo hard on putting this crib and changing table together.  It came in 1000 pieces!  Tracen was such a good helper--he is going to be such an awesome older brother!

Tracen's 5th Birthday!

Happy 5th Birthday Tracen!  We celebrated at Adam's Park in Logan and had a blast!  He LOVED his baseball cake and all of his gifts.  His gifts included card games, outdoor toys, water guns, and plenty more!  He especially loved all of his family that came to celebrate with us!  

The Garden that Never Was...

 We spent sooo much time weeding and preparing this garden!  It was a blast...(sort of).  Too bad the weeds took control and it didn't live...maybe next year!

Tracen's First Soccer Season!

We have been waiting for this day since he was born, and let me tell you...it was worth it!! It was so fun watching these little kids scramble around on the soccer field. Tracen was in his own little world most the time. We would spend most of the time looking at his shadow instead of following the ball. He would never really run fast...we would just jog around with the crowd. It was so funny. He came close to scoring a goal a few times (by pure luck!). He sure did have fun. He had the best cheering section on the field! Rain, snow, and wind...we were there cheering for our star!

IT'S A GIRL!

Today we found out that we are having a BABY GIRL!  Jake was so happy and we both teared up when we found out.  Looks like we will be buying lots of pink and purple for our little bundle of joy!  This pregnancy is far different than the first one...so I had my suspicions that it was a girl!  I am excited to have a future little volleyball star in our family!

Happy Easter!!

Easter 2011! We had a blast coloring Easter eggs this year!! Tracen stuck with orange, green, and yellow...I'm very surprised he didn't have any blue ones! He was with his Dad for the holiday and came home with treats to feed an army!

St. George Kite Festival

St. George is always fun to visit and so hard to come back! The weather was amazing...we even got a little sunburned. We went to the Kite Festival and had a blast. Bounce toys, train rides, and snow cones...Tracen was in heaven. He even got to ride on a school bus--he was super excited about that! We also got to spend time with the family and see old friends.

We had sooo much fun at Beaver Mountain skiing/snowboarding with the boys! JD was doing so good by the end of the day...he's a natural! Tracen was also improving...he still needs a few more times and he will be great!

A Man's Best Friend

Dugan was our Christmas Puppy! We fell in love with him instantly. Jake was even wearing a brown shirt to match his new dog! Since that day a special man-dog bond was started!

Honeymoon

Our honeymoon was amazing!! We spent 3 days in Orlando, FL, 2 days in Daytona Beach, and ended with a cruise to the Bahama Islands!

Daytona Beach was beautiful, but a little chilly! We walked about 4 miles up and down the beach. Our feet were killing us! The sand was as hard as cement and we had to watch out for the dead jellyfish along shore. Gross! Our hotel was right on the beach. Jake even got to go fishing on his honeymoon--what a great wife he has to let him do that! He didn't catch anything but sure had fun fishing in the ocean! He can check that off of his to-do list now!

The cruise to the Bahama's was amazing! Once we got there we took a bus to a hotel on the beach and just spent the day lounging and catching some sun! Though the weather was warm...the water was freezing!!! That didn't stop Jake from swimming all day! We walked around little shops and got to walk on one of the boats from Pirates of the Caribbean!

We were married Jan 29, 2011 in Logan, Utah. It was a beautiful day! All our family came to support us and it was a great time! Everyone was so spiffed up for the big event! The boys looked so handsome! The day was perfect!
